My Late Valentine....

So I know I'm a little late posting this but I wanted to get it on my blog before I pack it away. I made my daughter a "Target" altered mailbox. It's called a "Target" mailbox because that is where all the fantastic crafters were getting them from, and in the dollar bin too! So I altered mine and put some treats in it for my 2 year old. I let her open her mailbox on Valentines Day, of course she went for the chocolate first!... I also made these Valentine hearts for her as well. The hearts are made from 4 inch hearts on the Slice, the arrow is a pixie stick with photo corner punches for the end of the arrow and heart punch for the point. These were also well liked at my work!

Cookies and Milk anyone?...

So yet again another scrapbook swap... and the theme this time, Cookies and Milk. I did this altered paperclip. It's made with circles from George's Basic Shapes on the cricut. I made a 2 inch circles in biege and than "shadowed" the 2 inch circle with dark brown. I cut with a 1/16th hole punch in the beige circle to look like chocolate chips and with a bigger hole punch I cut bite marks in the cookie. Tied with some brown ribbon and finished! I think these turned out really cute!!

Going Bananas...

Alright so I did another scrapbook swap. I had die-cut, so I made this cute little girly monkey (the theme was girlie monkeys). It's all cute from my Basic George and Shapes on my Cricut. All circles and ovals. And than of course googley eyes and a pink bow!

My Valentine's Day Picnic...

So my mom and aunt decided to organized a Valentine's Day picnic for all the grand kids really all the grand girls (hehe). We played at the park, at heart shaped noodled pasta, and played "LOVELY" (pun attended) games. Here is the banner I made, with yes, my cricut for the occasion.

My Valentine Swap...

So I did a Valentine scrapbook swap with a group of ladies on line. I was in charge of twitchies and altered paper clips. A twichies is a two inch by two inch square (or circle or whatever shape as long as it's around two inches) that helps decorated a scrapbook. Mine have a diecut image (all cut with my cricut!!) and a small heart brad. An altered paper clip is just that, you take a paper clip and you add something to it. With mine I added a diecut image to the top and some ribbon around the clip. The theme was Valentines with your Kids and the colors were red and white... I will post what I do with all the swap items once I get it in the mail... so come back and take a look!

My BATH sign....

So I wanted something for my wall in my bathroom to help bring out some of the lime greens and other colors in my bathroom... this is also right next to my living room which also has these exact colors and stripes in my curtains and pillows. So it flows very nicely. They are decoupaged onto wood letters and than double sides foam taped to my wall. I also tied ribbon to make it extra cute! And "aged" it with lime green paint. I really like how it turned out. I also framed the paper in the green and orange frames and added flowers to those as well.
